Somerville branch to Close July 31 with Plans to Relocate

ANNOUNCEMENT: The last day SCLSNJ will be providing library services at the current Somerville branch location at 35 West End Avenue will be Friday, July 31, 2026. While we are vacating our current building due to ongoing infrastructure and space challenges, our presence in Somerville is here to stay! As we work to secure a new location in Somerville, in-person programming will continue across town through fantastic local partners, and hold pickups will shift to nearby branches. Later this year, we look forward to gathering to celebrate the memories and rich history shared at 35 West End Avenue.
